You might not be the best, but we know that you tried to do everything possible to be a great human being. Your friends and family loved you, we still do. You were a fighter, a brave, beautiful, intelligent and an Independent woman! You are in a 10,000 times better place than us. May your soul rests in peace! You did not win this fight but you know that your family and all your friends did every possible thing for you. May god bless your soul, Kaayum! We will miss you, a lot, really!
Kaayum, a second-year student of BA English honours, was from Guwahati, Assam. Her father works with the transport department. She was declared dead by the hospital she was admitted in around 7.56 am.
She was returning from a Birthday party along with her college friends when her uber driver banged in a truck, badly injuring the college students.
The survivors alleged the driver was speeding and did not slow down despite repeated requests. Is it now time for the uber drivers to be a little more responsible?
